Dear Dr. Amar,
There was a series of life experiences that landed me in your office. Thank you for the work you have done giving me my new outlook on life. The professionalism of your staff, was equally unparreled. They took the time to show extra care and treated me as if I was one of their family. Sylvia was truly always there for me and went out of her way to take me back and forth from my hotel and to make sure I was cared for after the procedure.
I believe that their is no surgeon with a better technique in this world. Your FAMI expertise is a rare special restoration of the "natural" enhancement to my face, probably because you used my own stem cells. In America, the best a surgeon can offer is something temporary to restore the fullness of a clients face through Restalyne, or Fat transfer or whatever the latest product. I´ve read in most instances besides being temporary at best some people complain of the fat moving around since it is simply under the surface of the skin and they don´t reinforce the bone structure along with the rebuilding of the facial muscles like in your FAMI technique.
Though I never had any plastic surgery done before in my life, after doing the research I found no one better qualified to perform on my face. So far, and I realize its only been a short time since the repair procedure but the results are amazing. The hollowness of my orbital areas and the fullness of my face have been restored to full capacity. After the procedure I was surprised by the lack of pain which I throughly had expected, though I was told by your staff that it would be minimally at best. I would have to guess it has something to do with the fact that no cutting of the skin was required as in normal face procedures. Swelling and bruising are to be expected but that i´m sure will subside in a couple of weeks. I am so glad to have found You, Dr Amar!! I know that my research was well rewarded and I am so grateful to have discovered you and the FAMI technique.

Dear Mireille,
The diversity of the themes that you approach and the clarity, the humanity and the intelligence, you manage to treat them, your personality coupled with your pretty face, so expressive looking, have motivated my desire to narrate a very life-changing story in my life.
At the age of thirty-three,(by sheer hazard), I experienced a terrible ordeal; I was then working for a big publicity firm in Paris, and hardly took the time to listen to my body. I regularly suffered severe migraines which I eradicated with “Optalidon” without ever considering that they were sounding the bell for a more serious condition: a meningioma, a benign tumor which was in my case situated on the orbital roof of my left eye, which, by compressing my optic nerve, was threatening my vision. Unfortunately, my concerns came too late, and I had to undergo trepanation and a stroke during the intervention caused me to loose the eye. I must let you know that my eyes were not only very performing (as my vision was evaluated at more than 10 by the ophtalmologists) but they were also my key seduction asset: being green, incrusted and almond shaped. I came out of the operation, not only with the loss of vision in the eye, but with an exophtalmia, a deformed forehead and the left side of my face appeared tense as if I had suffered a facial paralysis.
I consulted many surgeons in the hope of obtaining to regain a certain harmony to my face, to no avail… I was not defaced, as they all made me notice, but my face had been altered. In fact, they were all afraid to operate on me due to my past medical history but above all, they could not provide any solutions to my problem. Finally I met in Marseille, in 1997 the only surgeon who agreed to help me and had the courage implicate himself and face the challenge: Doctor Amar. A dermatologist had referred me to him with that recommendation: “He has golden hands; if something can be done, he will do it.” He had a long established practice, an excellent reputation and he enjoys a very comfortable financial situation. He was moved by my story and he showed an interest for my case. He asked me to allow him to reflect two days over my case, as a remnant of the tumor that could not be eradicated was still present. In Paris, the doctors who were following me, were not enthused by the prospect of a surgery as they were not the least concerned about my esthetic disarray. A real suspense! During two days, I prayed heaven. I know the risk were very little and anyhow, I already had lost my eye! As you can easily guess it, I had a positive answer: Dr Amar proposed to me (for a more than reasonable fee) to tom act superficially over my face by adjusting volumes with injections of my own fat, extracted in my lower limbs. His rule: Operate under local anesthesia, on a mobile face avoid any “rigid” expression. He had carefully explained to me that they would be an improvement but not tom expect a miracle.
My satisfaction overwhelmed me as they surpassed my expectations: smooth forehead, resting face, and my eye looks less swollen. Furthermore, I regained a long gone comfort nothing changed since my first operation. Evidently, I had the desire to improve the results, therefore I asked Dr Amar to intervene twice again. For the last one, I confess I must have
pushed a little (as he does not condone unnecessary spending) but it was again another success: he had achieved to reduce the exophtalmic look of my eye by injecting fat in my eyebrows, creating thus an optical illusion in order to make it appear more imbedded. I told him sometimes that he had missed his vocation as he should have been a sculptor! All my
friends who belong to the imaging world and plastic arts applauded his work, specially the very natural aspect of the result.
One just need to look at my pictures taken before 1997 to realize the spectacular evolution of my face. When I watch the TV stars on television, I deplore that some have lost their personality- if not their integrity - such as Isabelle Adjani whose implants can be seen moving under her lunar round face when she speaks. Or such as that poor Sheila, which has been transformed into a mongoloid Japanese girl with obvious false slanted eyes. Therefore, I find unfortunate that some do nothing to improve their image which is an important part of their professional asset. Dr Amar says often with a sense of humor; “The aim is not to regain one's youth at any cost, but to age like a beautiful l collection car model!” I would also like, by this testimony, - in regard of the growing interest for prosthetic surgery and its excesses to-day-bring my modest contribution to the positive and humane aspects of things:
• Yes indeed, reliable techniques do exist nowadays
• Yes there are honest surgeons
• Yes aesthetic surgery can improve significantly one's life even if some moralists want to make us believe that one's appearance, image or facial look does count very little!
I hope you will take the time to read my letter, dear Mireille and acknowledge it by a sign. While waiting, I let you have my coordinates and also the one of that surgeon who deserves to be known in the artistic world, because of his marvelous intervention in my life.
Dear Dr. Amar, Thank-you so much for you expertiese on female beauty.
I am grateful to have been the recipient of your invaluable knowledge and talent.
"After FAMI procedure" Overall, my nose, my lips, my chin, my forehead, and my jaw line, BEAUTIFUL.
At 46, I was looking hard and severe, which is the opposite of my personality, to say the least! I even lost my dimple; it became just another crease in my face. Dr. Amar's FAMI work made quite a difference. (I was even carded a few weeks ago when I was buying wine.) My dimple is back, too.
